Tom has served as Director of Equity Strategy since Parthenon’s inception in 1999. He also manages Fort Nelson Partners, LP (a small/microcap focused hedge fund).
Tom received his MBA from the University of North Carolina (1987) and graduated with a BA in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee (1982).
Prior to joining Parthenon LLC, he was employed with Hilliard Lyons in various roles including Chief Investment Officer, Director of Institutional Equity Investing, and Director of Research for the Investment Management Group.
Tom has been active on the YMCA Safe Place board, as well as the Ballard Lacrosse Board.
He is married to Bertie and they have two adult children.
